Ironically enough, the music discussion was more penetrating than the old Gnet. I tried to get G2 back to form, but certain people would not allow it. A few tried here and there, but most ran back here and hid.

Actually, I did't enjoy the nasty shit that went on. I do think there was a time when there was a bit of real music posting which was not really affected by the bullshit. If people had stuck to those boards, the bullshit wouldn't have become predominate.

As for my "talking to myself" threads, that was a sardonic comment on a certain souse's assertions that I was doing just that when certain other nyms were posting to me.

I think that this board, the older one, as well as DR/G2, became so tied up with the METAL SLUDGE wars that they were/are irreversibly bound with those wars. When the wars died down a bit, things just could not get back to the way they used to be. There was a time when both of those EZBoards were used to discuss music and other things without all the nasties that cropped up later.

"Prod", isn't that the term they use for Protestants in Ireland? I recall being in the "Narth" years ago and hearing it.

I wouldn't know about that. I just thought it was something they do to cattle, to help them along.

Oh, and Carl's cat, for a bit of entertainment.

Anyway, I'm off to London for the weekend, so might not be able to partake as much. TTFN.
